We painted this Navion up to look like an L17. It belonged to Col. Lester Frazier USAF Ret.

Not a bad looking Navion to start with. But the Col. wanted it in stars n bars and we were happy to comply.
Into the strip shack .

After stripping it got acid washed and alodined. Then a lot of taping and papering.
|
|
|
|
The base color is Aerothane's Nevada Silver . The emblems and markings are mylar decals from Aero Decals.
